Where now, you have challenges that constantly refreash daily, weekly that you can do to get XP to rank up and get coins. Previously, you would play the game and get about 100 coins or so for beating it, doing certain tasks etc etc, But then, after you get them you couldnt earn anymore coins from playing that game.

On the ubisoft connect dashboard through PC or Phone app, you click on the game and there are challenges that you can do to earn XP. Every level increase gets you about 10 coins.
You used to earn coins by doing certain acheivements, but now you earn coins by ranking up and increasing your XP level. You can check your balance on your profile dashboard via this website. Im pretty sure ubisoft has changed how you earn Ubisofe Reward Coins. (C) - This song can only be unlocked in Just Dance 2019 with a code.
